Was in the mood for some painting, so I whipped this together. I was watching a video about a turaco, a type of ground-dwelling bird native to Africa, and it struck me how well birds can disguise their long necks in their plumage. It got me to wondering if fluffy dinosaurs may have done the same thing. So here's Velociraptor nestled snugly in its feathers during another chilly night in the Gobi Desert of the Cretaceous.
