Hey everybody, just a quick general update.
FYI, I will not be putting any more Neopets writing up here as I had planned. While I worked hard on the stories and I hope they were good reading, I feel that they have run their course and I wish to move on to other, non-fanfic-related projects that can reach more people. I also honestly do not feel like the Neopets website is getting any better and it's sort of painful to keep working with a franchise that is but a shade of its former glory, to have to keep being reminded of what was and is no more. The nice thing, though, is that when you get rid of unhealthy things in your life, God fills the void with new, better things. :)
Plus, I'd like to focus what little time and creative energy I have right now to moving forward with novel writing, as I have a backlog of ideas and I want to enjoy writing about fully original characters and worlds instead of worrying about someone else's creative canon. I really hope to start on my next novel soon, as it should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to writing the robot paleontology nerd who is totally me making fun of myself.
I also have another small side project that I've been working on, so perhaps I'll put some of that up here soon!
