Jason Bailey ordered another commission of one of the characters from his Christian sci-fi trilogy Zealot Finale! I love dragons, so Pyre was super fun! I also love katana, and thanks to this project I know a bit more about their construction! When I studied kenjutsu we only used crossguard-less bokken (wooden swords), so trying to draw an accurate katana was a bit of a challenge for me because I was unsure about the proportions. Jason helped me get it right!
(My own katana is definitely one of the items on my extravagant wishlist.)
